McCormick is not coming to Kentucky. He doesn't want to leave his friends and apparently, a 3-13 record is appealing. His dad can't encourage the boy to do what is best for his future. The coach of Wilmington would rather keep him to win a few games.

 

It is a shame...He could have accomplished something great but you know how it is when the dad wants to live through his son...Glory Days.

I'd say more power to the kid and family for staying put and playing where he grew up. Novel concept I know, but maybe it'll catch on.

All I gotta say is the Colonel opponents are a little happier if he doesnt make the trek south. The kid is better than Hatton IMO and has more upside with his length. If he and Hatton were to be a tandem in the backcourt they would both likely avg 20+ a game.

Considering Peterson didn't attend school a good part of last year, I'm not sure what they do with that.

From what I'm hearing he is on the right track. I guess its wait and see.

 

With him, Holmes just made the 9th region a two team race IMO. Peterson is a matchup problem for any team in the region because of his strength and athleticism.

Walter you must have forgotten about NCC. They will be loaded this year as well. Morse is back in the fold and will provide strength on the block. Holmes with Peterson will definitely impose matchup problems though.

I think around 6' 3" 210-220 and still growing. If he picks up an 1" or 2, over the next couple of years, he'll be a force down low.

The shorter kid scored a lot in the post. The taller one block a lot of shots. Both kids play with there back to the basket. Not many to be freshman can dunk in northern Kentucky. I think they will see some playing time next year. Dixies big men are gone after this year.
