From the wreck Sunday?

Yup concussion must have hit his head pretty hard. His brain probably got rattled. Pretty scary thing to deal with.

He also said he is tired of and hates racing at Daytona and Talladega. Dale SR would be ashamed to hear that.

Suprised he even got to the chase, but I was right in he would falter later in the season

I cant blame him, its too dangerous anymore with all the cars bunched up.

He only said that because of the way the cars are now set up.

Actually, two concussions in six weeks. The first was testing at Kansas.

That is what sells tickets and tv ratings, the big wrecks. No one wants to watch spread out racing.

2013 Points leader, top 10 in first 5 race, almost top 5 every race. Dale Jr. is a top driver!

Dale Jr. has the most wins at Daytona at 9. Not bad for an average driver. :D

Dale is an "average" driver amongst some of the best drivers in the world. Which means he's overall a great driver, but only about average amongst his peers. Only great drivers get into the HOF. Dale is not a HOF driver...at least not yet, he still has a handful of years to build his resume, but as of today, no, not "great". This was actually a topic of conversation on local sports radio yesterday.

If Jr wins a title he'll be in the Hall of Fame...after all Dale Jarrett is already in it.

Still hasn't lived up to expectations that he set when he dominated Busch Series and won back to back titles...he hasn't won more than one race in a season since the wreck at the LeMans race in California in a race Corvette back in 2004. He did win three more races that year but hasn't ran the same since. The last few years he's ran harder than he had for 5 or 6 years

Dale Jr has not won the Daytona 500 nine times, only twice.

My guess is that the reference is to Junior's total number of wins at Daytona which include races such as the Pepsi 400 and those in the Nationwide race series.
