Your arrogance might cost you this season. Trinity thinks they may have one of their best two year runs EVER starting this year. If they run tue table it'd be hard to argue against them as National Champs. Highlands finished 3rd one year, and Trinitys schedule is definitely tougher than what they played that year.

 

In addition to a tough schedule they may need some national TV exposure though.

You can't be serious, can you? St. Xavier has arguably the toughest schedule in the nation. It's ridiculous.

 

I'd need to see Trinity's schedule to see exactly how far back from X's it is.

Honestly after looking at Trinity's schedule myself, I think over half of their opponents are teams that have cracked nationally ranked polls over the past decade. I know last years scheduled was talked up but this years schedule is TOUGH!!!! Honestly if they make it through the first 5 games without a loss then they're easily a top 10 team, probably a legit top 5.

 

C F with all due respect you might want to look at Trinity's schedule . I just looked at Cincy X's schedule and IMO, Trinity's schedule is much tougher. Are you serious, LaSalle ,Springfield , Hamilton , Oak Hills, Bishop Fenwick ? How many state titles do these teams have ?

 

Perhaps we can get a mod to start a thread of "who has the toughest schedule Trinity or Cincinnati St. X" , and have a poll added .

How many will they have? I know Quick but am not familiar enough with the rest of the roster.

If Trinity can run the table, this may be the best high school team the state has ever produced- '08 Highlands team may be able to argue this point, but it would be worth a conversation.

Your laughing at me because I haven't seen X's schedule , and your boasting about X's schedule without seeing Trinity's schedule, whats up with that ?

 

Ohio high school football is over rated ! I guess you forgot about the 08 loss to Highlands (3A ), while Cincy X was nationally ranked #18 ! Cincinnati X has one of the largest enrollments in the country , and still couldn't whip the "Birdies ". Do you have any crow left from 08 , or have you eaten it all ?

Trinity plays several teams from KY. That's all I need to know about their schedule. I guess since no one is willing to post it, I will go find it myself and do a compare.

My team is the team that Highlands won't have any part of going forward because they know they don't have what it takes to beat them in almost any given year. My team isn't Withrow.

I apologize if I wasn't clear.

 

No KY team can win a national title this year because they won't be ranked high enough to start the season and there are several others that are way ahead of them already in national exposure.

 

As for next year, it's possible it Trinity runs the table this year in impressive fashion and begins 2012 in the National Top 5. If those two things don't happen, again, no shot at a "National Title".

Did SK play their 2011 season already ? If they did I must have missed it ! I don't recall SK being a main stay in the finals , when was the last time they were in the finals ? The better question is , how many times has Sk been in the finals in the last ten years ? How many total points did they score in the finals combined. How many total points were scrored against them . I think your crystal ball is on the blink , you might want to have it checked out by an authorized repairman.

Good grief...with that talent and that schedule, anything less than a 14-0 record and an avg victory margin of at least 14+ points should be considered a disappointment. Again, only if you are seriously considering Trinity as a "National Champion" contender.

 

Be happy with a great season and their 58th State Title, or whatever ridiculous number they are up to now.

I was St. Xavier's ONLY fan on this site. Trust me, seeing them lose didn't upset me one iota. But to think that the countless beatings that St. Xavier, the GCL-South and Colerain have laid on the NKY teams could all be wiped clean with one win was laughable then, and even more hysterical now.

 

Watch what Colerain does to Ryle, the supposed big boy in big school football in NKY, over the next two years. Please...
