I heard Trinity was trying to still add Hoover, AL. Correct?

 

Is this legitimate- are the Rocks really trying to add Hoover? They will have a legit claim to the final #1 ranking if they are able to run the table with the addition of Hoover. Run the table with Hoover on the schedule and they are the unquestioned best team the state has ever produced- bar none.

I spoke with Coach Lampley today.....Trinity has no interest in playing Hoover. Our schedule for next season is final. Hoover offers no advantage that a closer team couldn't. We will not be scheduling them anytime soon, unless they call us.

 

side note: Ballard plays Byrnes (SC) next season in game two.....that could be real ugly.

Six and half drive time to Hoover, its a bit far. Not sure what kind of team they will have, their coach who won a bunch is gone.

Won't schedule Trinity but then schedules Byrnes (SC). Interesting.

^ I thought the very same thing......not going to be pretty, particularly this upcoming season. That said, I don't blame Coach Jackson, I know he would like to play us, but his hand has been dealt.
