Track the NBA Finals - Mavs vs. Heat

Bad play by Marion on that drive. If you can't dunk that or get an easy layin, pull it out and run clock.

Wow....Jason Terry....take that Dirk. Say something else about him.

That's just insane. Terry throws it up under pressure and it goes. If Miami is going to win, it will be Wade who has to do it.

Lebron has zilch again in the 4th.

That is LeBron's game right there. He needs to stop shooting 3's and take it to the rim.

It helped that Chandler pretty much let him have it.

True, but I still say that is what he hasn't been doing enough of in this series. I would let LeBron do that again. They aren't going to foul him. Take the easy two, foul and hope for missed free throws.

So does this hold like most of the 2/3/2 format where the home team wins the last 2 while down 3-2, or does Dallas break through?

What are the stats on that? Personally, I think this win was bigger than most. First time the Heat have lost back to back in the playoffs. Dallas confidence is at a high and they have played very well on the road in the playoffs. I believe the Mavs are going to win it. The Wade injury is going to be a huge factor.

At some point Chris Bosh has to undergo the necessary scrutiny reserved for LBJ. At least some of it.

They had it on SportsCenter today. IIRC, it had happened 5 times, and the only time the home team didn't win the next two to win the series in 7 games was when the Heat knocked off Dallas in 2006. In other words, every time the home team won Game 6 they went on to win Game 7.
