That's the way to close out a game CoCo. Go back to sleep Patrick.

Been awake all evening. Hey, Bin Laden just settled here in Bikini Bottom. He looks rough.

Florida down 1 to the Brewers. 1 out in the bottom of the 9th. Runner on 2nd.

Marlins have the bases loaded. 2 outs. Bottom of the 9th. Brewers up 1.

Reds gain no ground on the Brewers and probably not the Cards tonight.

Strikeout. Still a game and 1/2 out of 2nd.

Does anyone know if there is a significance in the red number on the front of the Dodgers' jersey?

I thouht that Bronson did a great job tonight, he wasn't "on" and he battled through it to give 6 inninings or 1 run baseball. The bull[en followed up and got it done. Was nice to see the Reds win one with pitching. Rolen made them pay the 2nd time they pitched around Bruce to face Rolen. Hopefully the Redlegs will get on a good run srarting with this series.

On a side note it was great to see and listen to "the Mayor" on the broadcast tonight. Man, I would love to see/hear him on the Reds broadcast full time. Casey would also be great with a job in the Reds organization. He would make a great coach or instructor. Sean Casey is one of my favorite all time players. He is a class act, great ambassador of the game along with being a great ball player when he played.

The only thing I have read is they did it so they would stand out better for fans watching on tv...

Bill Hall was let go by the Astros, is he worth a look? He isn't doing to well this year but has always been a Reds killer it seems...

Here's an update on the guys at AAA that would potential be able to help the Reds if need be: Zack Cozart hit .225 in April. Since then he has hit .352 to raise his season average to .294 and his OPS to .799. Jeremy Hermida raised his average to .356 which leads the league. Devin Mesoraco is now hitting .315/.405/.530 on the season. His average ranks 6th in the league. Yonder Alonso is at .318, which ranks 4th in the league. Danny Dorn is hitting .307, which ranks him 10th in the league. Yeah, four Louisville Bats are in the top 10 in the league in average. Also at AA Brad Boxberger lowered his era to 1.38 and has 43 ks to 10 bbs in 26 ip...

I found the same thing. They added the red in '52, the same year that color TV came to the US.
