Wouldn't surprise me to see the Rams at state this year. There annual nemesis(LCA) has moved to 2a. Fairview, Pikeville and Hazard will all have a say in it, but, I like there chances just as much as anyone elses from the east side..

Wing T, Only thing that I can say is that if this Raceland team looks past East then they will lose their home opener. I certainly hope that they wouldn't look past anyone. Welcome to bgp!

Reed is very srong and fast, and is needed healthy on both sides of the ball. The younger Rams will get some experience and the future looks great for the team.

You are right dh in that this is a very young Raceland team. I think that they could be a decent team by playoff time. Welcome to BGP!

I will be the first to admit that there are great things happening in Carter County, on both ends of the county. I think both teams will do well. On to your point, with a young team, if they overlook any team on the schedule, it will translate to a lose.

I agree will all your points. One or two injuries to key upperclassmen and the Rams could have a long season. I am pleasantly surprised by the work ethic of the underclassmen, but as of right now, they are still underclassmen.

 

This season can be a very good one for the Rams, but as you said the best for this team is still a year away. But, I still hope for them to overachieve this year.

Bluto is out on the recruiting trail trying to find some more LCA fans. The last time I told him of all our new Ram Fans, he developed a noticeable twitching of the neck and starting mumbling something like "Toga, Toga", then starting spiting jello out from his cheeks. I don't know if he can take it any more. Bluto, Bluto, where are tho Bluto?

Hope everything goes well for all the teams holding camp this week. It is blazing hot and will be a tough week . Lets hope all the teams can avoid injuries and be full strength throughout the season. My honest prediction will be Russell to beat Raceland this season, but will probably lose a few in the upcoming years. Hope we all make a run in the playoffs, will be cheering both teams on! :dancingpa

:lol: I think that he is even recruiting facebook! If I am not mistaken I think that I saw something about a Toga 2 for 1 sale in Lexington in the vicinity of the Fayette Mall, I think that he was sighted somewhere around a school really close to there. :idunno:
