What grade is Brad in?

 

Sophomore.

Raceland had several players do really well at the Tri-State Rehab Combine in Ironton Ohio today. Awards were given for the top two in each class as well at the best overall performer.

 

Brian Caudill got first place in the Senior Class as well as received the Best Overall Performer.

Austin Manis got second in the Sophomore Class.

Nevan Johnson got third in the Sophomore Class.

 

Sophomore Brad Boyles and Juniors Brandon Boyles and Logan Caldwell also did very well and had good performances.

 

Update, Austin Manis was awarded first place in his class.

I was a little concerned when a coach informed me that conditioning went poorly yesterday. I figured that with all the off season work in Ironton we would be in better shape. Maybe the boys enjoyed the dead period a little too much.............

I think a some were in really good shape, but the ones that were not in good shape really stuck out. It is what it is, some work and some don't. The question is: what will the ones that are in good condition do now? That will be the million dollar question.

In the Mayfield thread people are saying Mayfield and Beechwood are the favorites. How is it looking in the east, especially with LCA moving up in class? Is Raceland one of the favorites?

In all honesty VOR, I think Raceland is a year away of a two year run where they will compete very strongly for the East bid in the championship. With that said, I think Raceland has a chance to make some noise this year, after some maturing. Raceland will be young with small junior and senior classes. I think Hazard is the favorite from the east this year, with Pikeville competing. I think after that it is Raceland and Fairview in any order. After those four teams, it's a toss up. But I see those four as the lead contenders from the East half of the bracket.

 

And, I agree, Beechwood and Mayfield are the favorites in the west. In that order. With Frankfort being a distant third.

Caudill seems like he would do really well in this type of event. It's also good to see the other ones doing well. I do not know the Manis kid or Brad, but I know Nevan and had Brandon and Logan in class. Pretty good results for the Rams, how many teams were there?

It was nice to see so many Varsity players out last night helping with the Skills Camp. I believe we had approx. 80 campers. I really enjoyed working with them as well.

:thumb: I am a perfect example of how big of homers Ram fans can be. Alot think that we are too far over the top but I don't see anyone around here caring much about what those people think. .
