April 24, 201115 yr Buck and McCarver have been brutal to listen to today. At least for me they are always brutal to listen to, especially when St. Louis is playing. Larussa may be Doubleday but McCarver has to be a very close 2nd, I think they are brothers. Reds got big win yesterday. Yes, it is just April and a close race but imo it was big for their mindset in that they can beat St. Louis. Now a win tonight and the Reds take the first series from Abner and the boys. April 25, 201115 yr I think this is the first Sunday Night Baseball I've watched with the volume on and these announcers are pretty bad. Do you have to be pretentious to be a national commentator? I never liked Orel Hershiser, but these guys are about as bad.

We're Back !! :ylsuper: You question that but I have been saying to my friends that I haven't liked some of the pitch calls in certain counts with Hernandez, especially 0-2 counts. Now I know that the pitcher has to make the pitch but personally I think that Hanigan is a better signal caller.
