I'm pretty sure every school in Boone/Kenton/Campbell contract with a service for a certified athletic trainer.

West Carter has a certified trainer. She is at most if not all football practices, and games for almost every sport unless there are two games at once. In the past WC trainers have went with the team that was going somewhere that did not have a trainer if there were two games at once.

Scott does and she's excellent. She is even present at Woodland's middle school football games.

So does anyone know how much it costs a school to contract a trainer through a service like St E Sports or some other provider?

It all depends on the event and date, we use them for tournaments and stuff and it can cost anywhere from $50.00 for games for about a 3 hour window up to $200.00 per an all day event. Not sure what the cost is just for practices, we just use them for events.

Thanks. Most schools in NKY have a trainer at every practice and game for the entirety. I'm curious if it's a flat fee per year/season or does the school pay by the hour . A trainer for these schools is essentially part of the team/staff due to them being there for every practice and game.

Walton Verona has trainer at practices and games. The games, a doctor as well as the trainer.

OH YEA, YOU ARE RIGHT, the Administration that so supports Football took his Turf Class away along with part of his salary to make it a Part-time Job. Now the Coaches have to work on the feild and try to take care of injuries. A step back IMO.
