April 28, 201115 yr OKC wants Durant taking the big shots. Not even a debate. Agreed. The problem is does Westbrook think that way?
April 28, 201115 yr OKC wants Durant taking the big shots. Not even a debate. Cats will be here in no time to dispute that.
April 28, 201115 yr The end of regulation in the Spurs game was crazy. Clutch shots and clutch FTs by both teams. Amazing.
April 28, 201115 yr Despite losing, I was very impressed with Denver and Philly last night. The gap between top teams and 2nd tier teams is closing.
April 28, 201115 yr ^ I had a lot of hope for that series, and in some respects I was satisfied. Even though it only went five games, all but one of them were REALLY good games. I liked this Denver team a lot and hope they can continue to get better moving toward next year.
April 28, 201115 yr Despite losing, I was very impressed with Denver and Philly last night. The gap between top teams and 2nd tier teams is closing. But the gap will never be closed until a legit star is placed on either of these teams. Team unity and cohesion can get it done in college and win you some games in the NBA, but ultimately not so much in the NBA.
April 28, 201115 yr Despite losing, I was very impressed with Denver and Philly last night. The gap between top teams and 2nd tier teams is closing. If there's a hard cap and a franchise tag the gap will be gone. While it would be great for small market teams I just don't see the league letting that happen. They need NY, Boston, Chicago and LA to be the best.
April 28, 201115 yr For what? Each team is playing every other day. This is the best played basketball on the planet. Why shorten it? You must not be a true basketball fan then. No one can claim to be a basketball fan and not love the NBA playoffs. They're outstanding. NBA fan? You're probably right. College fan? I probably watch more basketball there than any around as far as I know of. I suscribe to Gameplan and get a lot of other games tha many don't get to watch. Overall I'm just not a fan of the playofff system in the NBA. I get excited at first but then I lose interest as it just continues to drag on out. I know a lot of people who are in agreement with me but I'm not claiming to be in the majority here.
April 28, 201115 yr Cats will be here in no time to dispute that. Westbrook is still just as valuable to them IMO.
April 28, 201115 yr Westbrook is still just as valuable to them IMO. I disagree but different question... game on the line, who you going to?

Team unity and cohesion can get it done in college and win you some games in the NBA, but ultimately not so much in the NBA. I agree. You aren't going very far with Andre Iguodola as your best player.
April 28, 201115 yr I disagree but different question... game on the line, who you going to? Depends on what I need and who is hot. Deep jumpshot? Durant no questions asked. But the guy that takes the last shot is not always way more important than everyone else. Pierce takes Boston's shots down the stretch but many would argue Rondo, Garnett or Allen are just as valuable if not more valuable.
April 28, 201115 yr A team has to have a guy down the stretch they can go to. Separates the Indy's, Denver's and Philly's of the world from the real contenders.
