Manu got hurt at the end of the season and that hurt them. Could they use another good player? Definitely. Rebuild? Not in my opinion. They are too old and fragile.

But that doesn't mean they should rebuild. The players they have with another good player would be fine. They could use another pf or center IMO.
April 26, 201115 yr Don't get ahead of yourself. I think the general feeling is that if LA treats OKC the way they are treating the Hornets they will lose. If LA plays they way they should, they win the west. I don't care who they play. Fact is the Lakers aren't playing like a 2 time defending champion and it isn't like the Hornets are doing anything special to stop the Lakers. This is reminiscent of the Lakers/Rockets first round series from 2 years ago. I stand by my prediction for the last month and a half that OKC will beat LA. I don't care if LA is on their game or not, OKC is the Lakers worst nightmare IMO. The only advantage LA has over them is in experience, but I think the Thunder make up for it in youth which has been tough for LA all season. Who for Miami can Boston not guard inside? Boston's bench will own Miami's. Miami will have to play the Big 3 a ton of minutes. I think Miami should win the series but if the games are close Boston has proven time and again that they will execute. Miami has no idea what to do. Perk was key in keeping LeBron and DWade away from the basket. Sorry but I don't think Jermaine O'Neal can do that. I think those two will run a layup line against the pathetic guys Boston plays at Center. The loss of Perkins hurts but is overstated. You don't think Boston can even make it a series?? Didn't they work Miami in the regular season? This one is going minimum six and probably seven IMO. NO way IMO as far as Perk being overstated. There are not 5 better defensive big men in the league and the Celtics defense is based on a team concept rather than individual play. And they did beat up on Miami this season, all coming about 3 months ago or earlier. No way you think the Miami of December/January is the team of today right? This series will majorly disappoint IMO. Boston has to take game 1 or 2.

At the end of the day, I'll take talent over experience every single time. The Lakers, whether you'll admit it or not, are not the most talented team in the league.

Not one team with superior talent is going to loss to a team with inferior talent. The most "experienced" team is getting laughed out of the playoffs, and the next most experienced team is in a dog fight with the least talented team in the post-season.
