It looks like there is a good chance for rain so we might not be going after all.

Still a little early for an accurate weather forecast. I'm going rain or shine but won't take the forecast serious until about Thursday.

The weather is not looking great but it should be a great weekend anyways. The Ashland on Saturday will feature some serious Oaks contenders. I don't know if any horse could beat R Heat Lightning right now though.

Just got back from Keeneland. After the rain passed over it was fantastic weather.

We went also. Nasty weather early, but the sun came out just in time. It was a beautiful day and not too crowded. I didn't cash a ticket but still had a good time.

I believe I brought this up last year...but here I go again. People, enjoy Keeneland, enjoy tailgating, but PLEASE bring garbage bags! Hated leaving yesterday and seeing all the garbage left on the ground by patrons. Keeneland is a first class place, so use some class!

The Derby is always pretty much open. Not many favorites win. If you are good enough to qualify, anything can happen. Can't wait!
