I'm not trying to or wanting to is the thing, I could care less. I just always wanted to know why people hate on Lebron so much (mainly Kobe fans). It's very ironic.

 

 

And as far as what Kobe does like Lebron, nothing really its two totally separate things and personalities. People hate on Lebron for things that are often done out of immaturity on his part or perhaps bad choices. ie. "The Decision." People like to rip on Lebron for some of the things he says, kind of like the whole League contraction statement. When it boils down to it though Lebron is more less an overgrown kid who has had to learn how to deal with certain media responsibilities on top of everything else. I mean if I could go from being a phenom in high school to the next big NBA superstar, be driving Hummers to high school and everything else (after growing up in not the greatest of situations) I would be very proud of myself to be as nice as guys as Lebron is. If most people had lived through the same thing they probably wouldn't be the most adept at handling certain things either, even with his high school education I'm sure it still wasn't much of one. I doubt his teachers were sweating him that hard over homework. However, people will attack him for not saying the smartest thing he could have possibly said or done things the way they felt they ought to have been handled.

Right but if you really look at it Lebron and the things he has done is not much different than say Shaq when he was coming up. Shaq done all kinds of crazy stuff, especially to get publicity. Nobody ever berated him like they do Lebron, both are like big kids really. Just don't understand why the hate for Lebron, guys one of the most gifted athletes to have ever lived and he has used those gifts quite nicely I would say. Led a hideous Cleveland team out of the gutter, then walks away to join D Wades team in a quest to win a title and done so without any friction at all. Not too many guys could do that.

That's kind of what I'm saying though. Kobe fans rip on Bron every chance they get it seems like but for the most part Lebron fans don't act like that towards Kobe although Kobe's actions may actually be worst in most cases. I just don't get all the hate for Lebron from Kobe fans, never have. Especially when Kobe does some of the things he does.

 

Its just a Kobe fan thing with LBJ. Look at how I act towards Kevin Durant. I think its a cycle. Were most Kobe fans on here Jordan guys? I know PP wasn't. I was a huge Jordan fan growing up, almost as much as I've been a fan of LBJ. But I never liked Kobe as a ball player, though I've come to respect his game.

 

I'm thinking for many it was if you liked Jordan, you disliked Kobe. If you disliked Kobe you liked LeBron. If you're a LeBron guy you hate Durant. I will probably be a fan of the next big thing. Unless the next big thing is Blake Griffin, in which case I'm already a big fan.

 

Maybe that's just how I see it.

Mine are 90% hating Lebron for Lebron, and 10% because I used to have the Kobe/Lebron debate all of the time. Eventually I went from just disliking him to despising him.

You may not but don't you think its kind of odd that most Lebron haters are Kobe fans? I know at least two dozen die hard Kobe fans and none of them like Lebron. In the same respect I know about the same amount of NBA fans who may like somebody else other than Kobe/Lebron and not ever hear them say anything about Lebron aside from him being an incredible basketball player.

I think its a subconscious thing for many Kobe fans. Hammer you know it gets under your skin just a little when someone says LeBron is better than Kobe .

There's not really much debate about it anymore. Kobe is past his prime but is still a winner. LeBron has entered his prime and has yet to win. Different ball game now IMO. There hasn't been a Kobe or LeBron debate on here in what, two years?

No. I really do like LeBron and always have but I'll admit I will criticize LeBron more than I do Kobe. Kobe does no wrong though.
