bugatti
How many people does the basketball arena hold? Is it typically full?

malachicrunch
In April Villanova should find it out if they're moving up from FBS to the Big East. The question was for statman. In the other thread, he pretty much told me I was a fool for even mentioning this even though it was part of a presentation given by the university. Perhaps another case of someone close to a situation, just thinking they know everything and us poor common folk are idiots...
Lucky Charms
How many people does the basketball arena hold? Is it typically full? When NKU played Bellermine (then #2 in the nation DII) the attendence was somewhere around 5,500 to 6,000, without a doubt their largest crowd this year. doubledeuce
How many people does the basketball arena hold? Is it typically full? I think the recent game vs Bellarmine drew their largest crowd ever.
Wildcat
NKU's basketball facility would probably be the nicest. Baseball might be the worst. That's why they made the move to Champion's Window field a couple of years ago; they are probably the conferences BEST facilities now.

doubledeuce
I'd say UL game a couple of years ago Okay, outside of an exhibition game.

MJAlltheWay24
NKU would need 7 men's and 7 women's varsity sports to be D1. Do they have them? From my count...no they do not. 6 men's and 7 women's (cheerleading is not included in that 7), which is what I heard was one of the main reasons holding up the jump. MJAlltheWay24
How many people does the basketball arena hold? Is it typically full? The arena has only been full for the UL game back in the Fall of 2008 (NKU's first game in the arena and it was only an exhibition) and for Carrie Underwood lol When NKU played Bellermine (then #2 in the nation DII) the attendence was somewhere around 5,500 to 6,000, without a doubt their largest crowd this year. I would say that has also been their largest attendance since it opened, excluding the Louisville game.

doubledeuce
I would rather see them stay DII and add football.
