You have no clue at all LawnBoy. Cheatum is probably the most under rated player in this area. The kid is very good and works his butt off. Not to mention he's a great kid.

 

Congrats to the Crusaders. Its been a long rough season....so glad to see these boys smile and celebrate a darn good win. Congrats to Coach Faust and a great group of young men I've got to know over the year.

One on one matchup, Cheatum would have him spinning faster than the blades on that SEARS push mower. Wasn't at the game last night but, I've seen Cheatum play probably 10 times in the last few years and if you added him to Gallatin, Grant, or even WV's squad this year, a certain sports reporter might have spent some time in one of these gyms. And before anyone starts poppin off, I'm not bashing the Lloyd players or the staff on their successful season. Coach Jones/Hicks/Trame could have used a big man to go along with their 6'2" and under teams.

Congrats to the Cru, especially Barnett, Beeghly, Patula, Goetz, the Crusaders 4 seniors way to keep plugging away and making things happen, and to Lloyd for having a good year you guys brought some pride back to the program this year with a good season.

Lloyd plays a bad game at the wrong time and people want to bash them. Lets look at the overall picture here and see that Lloyd had a pretty good year, especially considering what they have done in years past. Coach Key does a great job at Lloyd and deserves more credit for what he does for that program, not to mention the fact that he does an even better job as an administrator!

Great coaching and motivated players can lead to something like this happening. No one could have seen this coming. Congrats to SH.

I saw this comming as Coach Faust had the Crusaders clicking the past 3 weeks and you could see he was getting them ready for tournament. Coach Faust put together a game plan that had the Jugg's guessing and it cost the Jugg's in the long run. Congrats to St Henry for moving on and thanks for Coach Key and the Jugg's for putting a lot of pride back into the basketball program. It is easy to bash a team when they get beat however, don't take anything away from a great win for the Crusaders. JD

Worst district in NKY. Congrats to St. Henry for pulling out the W. Lloyd had a nice season just couldn't get up over the hump.

Dave Faust = Best Coach In Northern KY Hands down Still plays a big school schedule when he is at a small school. Still finds a way to do it. Depending on the draw I wouldnt be surprised to see him get a win in the tourney.

I would be very surprised. The only wins they have this season are over small schools. They will undoubtedly draw a district Champion so against the likes of Holmes, CCH, NCC, Boone, Ryle...I think they are a one and done.

And a blind squirrel sometimes finds a nut, big deal 30 pts. in a loss to a 4-16 team..... Alright boys and girls, this high school kid is not a delicate flower, he's and 18 year old ADULT, so cry me a river.

 

My comment, RIGHT OR WRONG, is based on the 5 times I've seen him play. He played with NO enthusiasm, a lack of hustle up and down the court, & whinned like a baby. Maybe I cuaght him on bad nights, because he definitely is a player he has nice size, long arms and can jump out of the gym. The most enthusiasm I saw in him was the pre-game huddle bouncing around and chest bumping. Sorry to those that didn't like my comment, but I'll never hold back and be "PC" on what I want to say.
