Ballard will play Seneca on Friday in the 27th District Championship

Parker 35 for Bruins

Unfortunately third time was not the charm for Trinity.

Played not to lose in 4th.

Congrats to Ballard. What a tough road to play an outstanding team at their place for survival rights. Ballard certainly has to be one of the favorites to play on Saturday in Rupp.

Ballard was down 26-12 in 2nd qtr.

Obviously, Parker was the difference. He is just too athletic. He's got my vote for the best player in the 7th Region.

Parker is a stud athlete and seems to have a good head on his shoulders. WOW! Sounds like he played lights out. Big time players step up in big time games.

Trinity had only one senior on their roster and played a 6 or 7 man rotation. Ballard played a 9 or 10 man rotation with three seniors contributing 49 of their 72 points.

Trinity simply wore down.

Wait until you see the Rocks next year when their juniors and sophomores are a year older and they add D Hicks to the roster.

It has to be brutal to get out of 'Ville this year and maybe every year. Ballard is a tough game for anyone and this was a huge win on what could be another run towards the state title.

It's crazy how one of the best teams in the state is sent to the house already. Gotta love the 7th region!

Ballard. Or Eastern. Or J'town. Or whoever survives the 7th region.

Yes, Ballard, Eastern, and J-town. Then throw in Trinity. Then add Male and Manual. Moore, Seneca, and Waggener have beaten the big boys before.

Sure. Any of those that come out of the 7th are favorites to play on Saturday.

Dag gone it! So wish T would have pulled out the win. :irked:

I guess I will have to pull for Eastern now because I just can't bring myself to pull for J-town or Ballard (strictly because of who coaches each team.)

It would be nice to see everyone in Jefferson County playing by the same rules.
