February 23, 201115 yr Why didn't he get it done right after last season? There was concern after he felt soreness during his 2nd last start which caused him to skip his last start. I guess they checked him out and thought he'd be alright since he'd been playing with it since 04. They probably knew it would eventually take TJ, but wanted to see how long he could outlast it.
