From what I have been told very few are recruiting him as a true QB. More like you'll get a shot at QB then move where we feel you are best suited down the line...

 

My question is where else is he a 4 star recruit outside of QB?

And a college would NEVER tell a kid/coach what they wanted to hear in the recruiting process. That is just totally out of the realm of possibility...

The fact is he is being recruited as a QB now; I already mentioned it is common for MANY kids to change positions.

What I like most about these 2 D1 football players is that they play other sports. I feel that too many kids tend to specialize with the hope of a scholarship instead of doing what they love to do, and that is play ball whatever the season.

 

Congrats to both of these young men for what the have accomplished so far.

CNNSI.com cited Pike as an elite 5 star QB prospect.

Michigan is recruiting Pike as a QB; enough said.

The school that does gets scratched off the list early. Get em in school, then tell them where they are going to play. Not much a kid can do but do what they say ....or transfer. tell me how well that works for a kid.

Coaches aren't that callous toward kids; word would spread and hurt recruiting in the long run; more and more kids are transferring every day as well.
