Did Somerset do something to wrong you in this or a previous life? If your predictions for their games were true the Jumpers would have finished 0-10 this year with a running clock in every game. I know the last 2 weeks you picked Somerset to get hammered--but it didn't happen. That said it would be an upset if Somerset beats NCC but not that big of one. I'll say NCC 35 SHS 21--and I hope I'm wrong.

 

I didn't pick Somerset to get hammered the last two weeks...but I am picking them to get hammered this week. I just don't think they are very good...it's nothing personal at all...

Hey killer, you are so right about the small guys. I would rather have a small, quick, good technique player, than a big slow one, of course don't forget the heart part.

In all reality you don't have to be a giant to play this game. I've seen alot of small linemen put a larger opponent on the ground. I personally think that if a athelete knows his/her techniques and know how to use them, then they would have the upper hand. If I remember correctly Newport back in the early 80's had two guards that were about 5' 6" and wieght less than 150 pounds. Those two guys would just pound you and pound you again. Remeber, the small guys play with a lot of heart too.

Hey KC09, I do remember them little guards that the Wildcats had that year. Phil Chambers 5'8' 145lbs, and Brian Pope 5'8" 150lbs, man those guys were tough. The Wildcats were 11-0 Undefeated in Class(AAA) and then loss to Conner in the Sub-Division Championship.

3 weeks we have been geting posts saying we are going to lose. and not to go into the game thinking it will be a walk or it could be a bitter dissapointment. Writing off NCC is not a wise thing to do at this point
