Thanks, that man is a "drill sargeant" and gets it done at Ryle. Clyde says he is the man when Krumplebeck moves on, could the CovCath parents handle him? Id say he would do better at CovCath then he is doing at Ryle, just sayn due to talent pool. I wonder if TOG would bless Roesel as Krumps replacement? LOL

If and when Krumps wants to retire, there is only one person to hire and that is Coach Eckerle who is Coach Krumps current assistant.

BTW far too many former CovCath Grads Coaching Baseball teams in NKy to pick one over Coach Eck and it seems they all work for the Boone County Board of Education High Schools, other than Dan Barth of Holy Cross!

BTW I purchased two score books today from Koch and each now cost $9.99! It wasn't all that long ago that you could buy the same book for around $5/$6 dollars each.

Yes.

At some point.

Nope but you and the rest of the NKy high schools can only hope so......LOL

Tell us the story, again, TOG about when White Castles used to cost 5 cents. I love that one.:D

Indeed you have good taste as the Koch Big Red enlarged Format Score Book (BR554) IMO is the best one to purchase.

They had plenty upstairs in the store room and they usually do when you ask them to go up and look. This is the second year out of the last three that there hasn't been any on the rack by the cash register but they had my two and brought down about a dozen more.

The Boss had mine ready when I got back to her but I think $6.00. Was a rather nice day on the fountain but it was a little windy!

I heard things are very optimistic in Dayton. The comradre is better than ever and the kids are all buying into what the coaches are doing. Look for Dayton to have one of their best seasons in a long time. Thomas Rogg and TR Smith look to be the players to watch for the Greendevils.

Maybe they can be sponsored by PeeWee's

Paaalease!!! I could care less who coaches who. Are you serious? CovCath will always be CovCath when it comes to Baseball. Kinda like my football team.:thumb:

T Rogg any relation to Brian Rogg (former Highlands pitcher)?

I remember Mr. Rogg, he used to kick his glove during his wind up. Didn't he go on to play at TMC? He was a very crafty pitcher. He didn't have an outstanding fastball or a great curve, but he knew how to pitch and hit his spots. I think it was his father who came to a game with his Police dog. Now that was intimidating.

Unfortunate news for CCH's Tom Arnzen. Looks like a shoulder injury suffered in practice is going to keep him out this year. First, it's a darn shame for a kid to have to sit out. he already sat out his sophomore year of basketball and now this. For CCH it's a blow. This kid IMO had a chance to be the best player on the team this year in a strong junior class.

Oh man, that is bad news. So sorry to hear that such a great kid is going to miss another season. Any details on what it is and how it happened?

I had heard he'd be out a few weeks at most. If it is indeed the entire season, that is a HUGE loss.

"Rogg and his Dogg" now that brings back memories.

I hope you're right.
