February 1, 201115 yr ^I prefer to cook the meat and mix in the cheese the night before. Then putting it on the ryes and baking them in the oven to get the bread crispy...Oh goodness, I've just convinced myself I need to make them for our Super Bowl party!

February 1, 201115 yr ^I prefer to cook the meat and mix in the cheese the night before. Then putting it on the ryes and baking them in the oven to get the bread crispy...Oh goodness, I've just convinced myself I need to make them for our Super Bowl party! That is the best way to do it. February 1, 201115 yr Just about the best dip on the planet. Its a cream cheese base with skyline(or any Cincinnati Chilli) over top and then shredded cheddar cheese melted over that. I don't think I could have answered that any better myself. A definite must for any get together.
February 1, 201115 yr pigs in a blanket Dude...its been forever since I've had one of those. Used to absolutely love them! We don't get claimed by Kentucky or Ohio. It's like we're our own little state all on it's own. I couldn't agree more and I love that its like that!
February 1, 201115 yr That is the best way to do it. I just googled that recipe real quick. Picture doesn't even come close to doing them justice. I'm sure they're fabulous, but...ummm....well....that picture looks like a plate of cow chips (for lack of a more PC term).

February 1, 201115 yr I'm making risotto with sundried tomatoes, flank steak with a balsamic glaze, a nice salad, and some french bread. But if I weren't having people over that I have to impress (my son, daughter-in-law, daughter and boyfriend), then I'd get me some deviled ham, mix it with cream cheese and green onion, and a box of Triscuits and call it a good day.
February 1, 201115 yr You knew it was coming....the dude has an irrational fear of vegetables. :lol:A healthy disrespect.
