I said at the beginning of the season that Chris Hayes was the best guard in nky and after today, I still stand by that comment.

I hope the replay of the game is better than the live broadcast. The streaming of the live broadcast was very disappointing. It constantly reloaded and you couldn't watch the game. I hate to complain about free streaming but it was pretty sad for those of us looking forward to watching this game.

We have continually had trouble with our wireless card during basketball season. I apologize and assure you we are working on it.

 

It's hard to get good wireless inside a gym. Just ask Ryan Ernst as he was having similar problems at Newcath during the All A.

This has to be extremely disappointing for coach Carr as it looked like the Eagles had turned the corner and were looking like challengers for the 10th region crown. I would not have wanted to be a fly on the wall in the locker room after this game.

Plain and simple, Scott tried to run with Holmes and play their style and Holmes got a lot of points in transition off turnovers. Hayes with 8 stls should tell you how it was for the Scott guards.

 

It also didn't help that Smith was extremely frustrated the entire game due to foul trouble. Holmes guards were too quick for him to defend and he got several reach in fouls as a Bulldog was blowing by him.

 

Also, not sure why but Gray didn't enter the game for the Dogs until the 2:45 mark of the first quarter. Sophomore BJ Coston started in his place.

Holmes did pretty well in slow motion. It will be pretty difficult for Booher to match the success going faster.

I would not even advertise or link that broadcast. The game played in like 3 minutes. I hate to be critical of volunteer work and services, but that link should be pulled.

Surprising margin, but you have this type of game every now and then, and I would think Scott will be in the thick of things in the 10th.

Nice confidence builder for the Bulldogs who have been laboring here lately, trying to find a flow since they lost Pierre Mayfield.

I am shocked at the score. No Team in N KY should try and run with the 'dogs. This will be the result. The formula to beat them or play it close is out there. Make them beat you from the outside and limit the 2nd shots. They play Dixie at Holmes on Monday.

Scott didn't stick to the game plan, the JV played the way the Varsity was supposed to... They didn't run with Holmes and they made shots. It seems that as soon as Scott couldn't hit from the outside, they resorted to trying to run with them and as they learned from the two games with Henry Clay (both losses in the high 20's), they can't do it! Scott shot the lights out against Campbell their last game and couldn't buy a bucket tonight. The Bulldog in me is happy but the Eagle side, whom I’ve adopted, is not too happy about this one.

Scott handed a few right to him to take a step and make a lay-up... Scott was out of sync from the start. They missed about 5 to 7 point blank lay-ups in the first few minutes of the game... It was the worst I've seen Scott play all year.
