You usually tell some tall tales, but I'll give you that. Having worked w/ a few guys that played for SK around that time, I would definitely not want to cross them. I believe that a friend of mine had graduated by that time, but he was (still is) another one.

The crew I hung with back then could and still can throw down a fun bunch!

There was an AWEFUL display at Hoops in Louisville this past Saturday night! Little kids are around and this MOB which started fighting at mid court very quickly moved to the baseline, then onto the walkway area, and then onto another court on the other side of the walkway!

I saw two Conner football parents throw down in the stands at Dixie against each other. Would have been about.......1998ish.

Cougar Pride!

Late 70's NewCath beats Highlands at Highlands in a regular season game and proceeds to cut down the nets. Highlands fans don't stick around to watch, instead going outside to make snowballs.............and wait for the victors to emerge. The resulting fight(s) streched from the lot north of the school to LaRosas. Lasted for 20 minutes.

Closest thing I saw was when two rival 16th region schools had just finished playing a girls basketball game. Winning team's cheerleaders were out on the floor doing a sort of victory chant/dance, when all of a sudden things started being thrown on the floor by fans of the team that lost. Among the items thrown were pop bottles filled with tobacco juice.

If I remember the story correctly the chant was "Go Home East"

Who cuts down the nets after a regular season game at an opponents home floor. You sure about this? Seems a bit odd to me.

Worst I can remember was Breathitt County at Middlesboro In 99 or maybe 00. After the game Breathitt County was huddled up in the end zone when some fans was taunting the Breathitt County players which lead to the Breathitt County players throwing there helmets into the crowd , Could of gotten really ugly but thankfully it didn't.

Although we won the game It kind of felt like we lost , It's fans like that we don't want or need here In Middlesboro. I personally loved our rivalry with Breathitt County but thank to "realignment" we don't get to play em anymore.
