January 17, 201115 yr Now that the Patriots are out of it, I don't care who wins it really. I loved it. BTW, I hate the Patriots. Though I think a Packers vs. Steelers game would be fun to watch.
January 17, 201115 yr I agree and that is one of three things; the other two were Crumpler's drop that would have been a touchdown and when they went for it on 4th down at the end of the second quarter. If Crumpler didn't make the drop and if they would have been smarter and punted just before halftime, the game likely finishes different. Sorry that's ifs and buts. Sanchez badly over threw 2 wide open recievers early in the game that would have probably been TDs. There are ifs and buts on both sides. The Jets were just better in this game, and they won.
January 17, 201115 yr Can't remember who the Jets player was, but they guy was fired up in the post-game interview. He said that the Defense was pretty tired of the disrepect given to them, not just by the Pats, but by the meda as well. Can't say that I blame him, & I can understand his enthusiasm at proving the doubters wrong.
January 17, 201115 yr Well, Tom Brady & the Patriots STILL have not won anything since the NFL put an end to Spygate. Coincidence?

January 17, 201115 yr ^Bart Scott. I love Rex Ryan. I think people that hate on him take him too seriously. Alot of the stuff he says is to create motivation for his team IMO, and the other half is just to be funny. If Bellicheck has ever had a rival in creating defensive strategy specifically for an opponent it would half to be Ryan IMO. And what about Sanchez? Alot of people have hated on him, but he's a young QB who wins. He kind of reminds me of a young Big Ben in that sense. Alot of the analyst said back in the day that Big Ben was just a caretaker (he may have been early on) and he just needed to not screw it up. More often then not, Sanchez has been money with the game on the line this season.

January 17, 201115 yr Author Well, Tom Brady & the Patriots STILL have not won anything since the NFL put an end to Spygate. Coincidence? New England's defense is also very young and not near what it was which is a huge factor as well. When Bruschi retires, Vrabel goes to the Chiefs, Seymore goes to the Raiders, Samuel goes to the Eagles, Harrison retires, and more, it's going to leave a dent. Players of that magnitude can't just be replaced and things continue just as they had been.

Players of that magnitude can't just be replaced and things continue just as they had been. The Pats have prided themselves on creating a winning atmosphere and organization that is bigger than any one player. They have done a great job of running the organization and it has been very successful. But, the facts are the facts. And the facts are that the Patriots have not won since they were caught cheating. BTW, they didn't "lose" Richard Seymour to the Raiders - they traded him.
January 17, 201115 yr Jets and Pack in superbowl. Two great defenses All 4 teams have great defenses.
