I think that they will end up better, as an outsider imo Kragthorpe was a joke of a coach but in his defense it seemed that he did have to clean up some of Petrino's mess/thugs. As for Petrino the traveling snake oil salesman he showed what he was everywhere he has been, imo only a matter of time before he leaves Arkansas high and dry.

Strong imo is a class act, will do a good job building his program. I just hope that UL people realize what they have in him.

I am excited to keep them both in the Commonwealth. Teams can never have enough talent on the field. I feel confident Coach Strong will find ways to integrate them both in to the offense... whether one has to move positions or not. What are the chances either Smith or Bridgewater playing right away? Do you think one will redshirt? Wasn't Smith going to enroll early or am I thinking of someone else?

^ I believe both are planning on enrolling for the spring semester. DeMarcus has some work to do, to get in first. That being said, I really look for one to be the starter next year, and the other to be redshirted.

I'd be shocked if Bridgewater doesn't get immediate playing time. If they don't like him at QB he's suppose to translate well to WR or DB. A few of those recruiting analyst said that he is a program changing recruit. Don't be fooled by the 40 time, he's suppose to be much faster than what he's listed. I think he was hurt at the big combine this past off-season when he ran the 4.7.

I know his coach pretty well. I do hope those eyes don't get stuck.

Yup. That's what he liked about MIami. Shannon made him a promise that he wouldn't recruit another QB that this year, and TB started wavering as soon as Morris started playing. Golden came in and said he wanted 2 QBs in this class and I figured that would be the end of TB to Miami. Not sure that is a great thing going forward for him to want promises of playing time and stuff. I do hate that he's at U of L, I didn't care if he did not come to the U because I don't think he fits the offense, but I hate that he's going to be big problems for UK.

That's how the big boys do it. You have to go out and recruit over people at any chance you get if you wanna be a BCS program each year. Buckeyes did the very same thing this week taking Florida's top LB recruit who decommited after Urban left, right after we received a commit for a 3 star kid.
