tcjkbt
"Time is out-tuh... on the floor." "....the thrill and excitement of college basketball..." "........your lights are burning..." Jumper_Dad
Cawood, the best there was, the best there is ever going to be. Favorite Cawoodism, "Got it", as in "Macy from 20....got it" Old School TV...Tom Hammond and Joe Dean Sr. In college we all used to imitate these guys doing a game, everybody wanted to be Joe. Who can forget, "String music in Lexington K.....Y", which was usually being said on TV as Cawood was saying "Got it" on the radio.

Even though he was die hard LSU had to love Joe Dean Sr.
tcjkbt
Also Cawood: "..write it down..." (for a made shot)..and...when the Cats weren't playing well.."...Kentucky sloppy right now.." Or when he would interview the Baron post-game, all he would have to do is ask one question and Rupp would not quit talking until the first commercial. I will go back a little further and go with Joe dean and John Ferguson (the man Hammond replaced).
Randy Parker
I would watch a grass-growing contest if Gus Johnson was calling it. And Bilas is the best color guy in the biz.
