gametime
All signs are pointing to playing Pitt in Birmingham. Pitt has already accpeted the bid...
ColonelCrazy
Pitt went 7-5 & 5-2 in Big East play. No quality wins but no bad losses either.
Augger
UK may have a small chance at beating a Big East team. But this UK team has not impressed me yet.
ColonelCrazy
UK may have a small chance at beating a Big East team. But this UK team has not impressed me yet. Make no mistake, the Big East is a BAD football conference. But I'm with you...Kentucky has not done much to impress me this season. I think UK would be a slight favorite, but I think it'd be a solid matchup.
ColonelCrazy
FWIW, UCONN won the Big East by going 5-2 in conference play. Both WVU & Pitt had the same conference record...

mobaar
Jan 8. Give me a break. At least the Cats will get an extra couple of weeks of practice out of it.

CoachBuckett
This should be a good match up. Pitt is physical run it down your throat style.
mobaar
All bowl teams get the same 15 practice limit... Nevermind. So they just get a nice long wait between now and then....
oldrambler
Another who cares bowl. At least Pitt had 7 wins, the Big East was awful this season and UK was imo far from good. I will, of course be pulling for UK bc I am a UK fan but is jmo that UK doesn't deserve a bowl game. I have been saying since 6 win teams became eligible that it was a joke and I still feel that way, any 6 win team. So, once again there is my now :deadhorse: comment.
