Everything else being 100% equal, playing better competition will, to a point, likely help your team improve. Your argument is that playing IU or UC instead of Kent State or Charleston Southern will instantly make UK a mid tier SEC team instead of a lower tier one.
January 3, 201115 yr Explain to me how playing Kent State and Charleston Southern prepares UK to win in the SEC. It gets them bowl eligible which provides them with additional practice time and another game against a team that is most likely comparable to the ones you keep advocating they add.
January 3, 201115 yr So Scribe, if all of the SEC schools schedule the same way, why is it that UK would be so greatly improved by changing their schedule? It just doesn't add up, i'm sorry.
