I really hope the game does happen between Beechwood and Mayfield. I am pretty amped about SK and Ryle next week, but I believe that this one is going to be just as good.

The only thing this game tells me is the serious lack of depth in 1A football.

True, there are probably 10-12 solid 1A teams with a pretty big drop off from there. I think the thing that happens as you move up each class is the drop off from the top to the next tier isn't as steep and then you add 2-4 more solid teams as you move up. But each class has its top 5 teams each year that are just head and shoulders above the rest.
