Nice veiled shot, though as usual your pettiness and jealousy managed to shine through. It would appear that Conner's "made-for-TV" qualities that you seem to be ridiculing just happen to be the same qualities that interest D1 recruiters.

This thread is about Conner Hempel, not about the old... "our QB is better than your QB." It seems that a couple of you in Independence can't stand when others get some positive attention, somewhat jealous, it seems. Conner is a legitimate D1 quarterback, just ask the recruiters, I think they know quite a bit more about what to look for than you. He is a great young man and comes from one of the nicest and most classy families that I know. To get on here and talk about how much better your guy is than ours is a joke! By the way... I will take ours any day!!!

Those who can't stand that their QB isn't getting attention need to take a deep breath, count to 10, and then appreciate the talents of other deserving young men. Connor Hempel is an outstanding player and young man and will make all of N.Ky proud when he dons the crimson of Harvard.

NKY is not the only area that should be proud of Conner, all of Kentucky should be proud of him. Its great to have a kid from KY going to play QB at Harvard and be on a national TV show. Conner and his family will make the state of KY look good!

Just finished watching. Thought it was pretty good. The coaches on the show seem high on him. Wouldn't surprise me to see him playing in the Army game in January.

I watched it and enjoyed it very much. I hope he continues to do well in this competition...seems like a great kid.

I know nothing about Harvard and their athletic scholarship situation. I am just curious, does Harvard give full rides for football, basketball, baseball, soccer, etc.......? Can anyone answer this question and elaborate on how their program works?

No athletic scholarships in the Ivy League as far as I know.

I don't believe they give athletic scholarships. I believe they'll give you money based on your grades and ACT,SAT scores..

Conner was rated #1 on the show this week. I know about 5 QB's that are just as good or better.

Funny thing about this show is 2 Kentucky quarterbacks are on it and 0 Ohio quarterbacks.
