Manual is playing well. Have a nice back, QB is solid, kicking game too. They are big up front, I see them playing well. The D handled Males quick RBs and shut them out in the 2nd half.

Don't get me wrong, Hatcher is a good player but the Rocks defense can and will win without him.

 

I agree... just saying Hatcher causes a defensive coach to make serious adjustments! We will win with or without him.

You better go to Male though because I have a feeling after this year home playoff games will be a rarity for them.

Yeah, I agree with you, if the Rocks win the next three years do you finally see a Private/Public split? Most states would have already done that, hey you are better, but human nature makes it where someone else would like to see someone else win it, at least once in 10 years. We cannot compete and look at your last statement, you are correct, but when you have a child involved it means a little more.

 

I do like what JCPS have done with the middle school programs but the drawback is a great Middle school team will send kids thru out the city and plus the private schools will get kids also. Maybe thats why I pull against the Rocks/X so hard, it would be nice to see a little change, but can't blame fans of those schools to keep doing what brings y'all such joy.

 

I could send my kid to a Private school, but its his choice and he still has a few weeks to decide.

 

Last nite we had our banquet for Highview 8th grade team, and the kids were announced and their high school choice was told,and there were several who are looking at the private schools. We had a very good team. And there were a lot who mentioned Male/Manual.

AL, I would say, as you feel about Trinity and X, Seneca, Fern Creek, maybe even Ballard, Western, Shawnee, etc, probably think about Male & Manual as well.

Anxious to see how the Rocks' run defense handles Warr. Trinity's offense is clicking like the 2002 team's did. Kicking game needs to improve. We shall see.
