This should be a better game than the first meeting when the Rocks crushed the Crimsons. Manual's tough schedule has prepared them for the playoffs. Trinity's speed and versatility on offense will be unstoppable. On defense, with Hatcher back from injury, the Rocks will be primed and focused for Manual's misdirection run game. Should be an exciting game. Rocks win (48-13) and take one more step towards #20!

I think the Rocks will win this game pretty handily, the mis-direction offense Manual has, caused the Rocks some trouble in the past but appear to have re-solved that the last couple of years. Rocks 48-7

I think that Manual appears to be greatly improved. The win over Male was impressive to me. Not so much the W on Friday night. Rocks need to take them seriously - as I know they will. REspect Manual.

This Manual team will be prepared, I agree with rocktopper, Manual has played the most brutal schedule and will be ready. Trinity will certainly be in for a fight. I like Manual o-line. Tim Haag the center is strong, Good luck Crimsons.

Thinking on this one a bit, but right now I leaning toward the Crimsons (there is something about that name). Also I went to Manual in the 7th grade when they won it back in 1966. Parents moved to the southend and they made me switch schools. I was really upset, but enough about me.

I'll give a score after I speak with some coaches.

I would not speak to the ones you have been speaking to for the last few years.

They obviously don't know anything about football.

^^^Yeah, they are all public school coaches, the privates will not return my calls, do they know about me? :idunno:

Mama said NO to X/Rocks for my son, I was open minded. Sidebar comment.

I just think its time someone else wins beside a private school for the 6A. When was the last time Manual played in the finals/won it all?

Male, it was ten years ago they won, maybe five or six they played in the final game.

Larry, I am afraid that your son will be out of high school before a private school wins 6-A! Sorry

Not sure of Manuals' last title but they lost to T in the '88 final, 28-0 if memory serves...

Sorry to hear that but understand. I am sure he is a fine young man and we would have loved to have welcomed him to "Rockland." He can always change his mind :D

Thanks for the consideration anyway and the open mind. Good luck to him wherever he goes.:thumb:

Don't get me wrong, Hatcher is a good player but the Rocks defense can and will win without him.

Take the high and low temperatures of the day and divide by two... there's your final score. Trinity high, Manual-low.
