I don't know if they have told Trinity no or not, but I do know they have several games to fill. Therefore if Trinity asked them to play, they should have had a date open. The way I see it, Trinity will be loaded next year, so there is no advantage for Highlands to play them. I am sure some of the decision makers at Highlans see it the same way. If you truly believe Highlands has never refused a game with anyone, you are sadly mistaken.

Why would Trinity put themselves in jeopardy of having a losing season?

 

It is games 11-15 that count the most.

To clarify, I have learned that Trinity has tried to schedule Colerain, Cincy St. Xavier, Bowling Green, Simon Kenton, and Highlands for next season. All said no.

There is a marked difference in having trouble competing with a Cincy power vs. a Kentucky school. I am sure you will not see them play when T is supposed to have by far the upper hand, and to be honest, I really don't blame them for that decision.

I don't think anyone is lying. I don't know how reliable his information source is.

 

If Highlands has a place on their schedule for a quality opponent , they will play them , period. That includes Tor X or any other great football programs ! (Oh or Ky )
