First round matchup in 6A. Your thoughts and predictions.

This could be an entertaining matchup, Seneca's explosive offense agaisnt a pretty darn good St. X defense. If Seneca can eliminate turnovers they can compete with X, I'll say this game is close for about a quarter and a half then St. X will pull away by pounding away on a suspect Redhawks defense. DaMarcus Smith is very talented but have a feeling he'll be running for his life. If you get a chance go check him out his arm is top notch and Michael Fluellan at receiver can go and get it. St. X 49-14.

The X-Men advance 42-28.......

X needs to make a statement here. If this game stays close then Ballard will will have all that much more confidence going into week 2 (assuming Ballard doesn't look past Butler). I say X by a score of 42-14.

The Tigers are still the DEFENDING STATE CHAMPS - until someone dethrones them. It has sounded like they are turning things around. I like X in this one.

It's pretty simple for the Tigers when you think about it; don't give up big plays and don't turn the ball over. Stick to that and life will be good for the defending state champs.

Seneca has a couple stallions, but it takes several horses to beat X. Perhaps a couple touchdowns for SHS on pure athletic talent, but teamwork, discipline, and an overall talent edge will provide 5 TDs. Tigers advance 38-13

If Seneca scored it'll be late, and the game will have already been decided. X is a much different monster now.

And SK is as good as last year? Doubtful. I wouldn't be surprised though if SK would give X a game or that Ryle would beat them if they played.
