Who will watch the Bengals game and who will rake leaves?

Featured Replies

I may not be raking leaves more than likely I will be shooting hoops with my 4th grade team but who honestly is excited about this week's game? I have lost my enthusiasm quite frankly. Anybody else?

The Bengals always disappoint their fans year in and year out.

I give their fans much credit. They stick with the team even though they are pitiful.

No excitement or enthusiasm. I will watch with no hope or expectations - until I can't take the incompetence anymore. Do you think I will have to turn it off and start raking leaves before half time?

I'll be watching and I'll probably be whining and moaning too, letting it all out on here on an updates thread. It's what Bengals fans do.

I'll be at the game & will more than likely be heckling Marvin & the players. Hopefully they'll break the huddle on the opening drive with 12 players in the huddle. That'll really help my material.

Me too, by the way I guess the game sold out?

I will watch it and enjoy watching , I am a true Bengals fan not just one of the fair weather fans . Not to mention this is only the third game I will be able to see all year because of my locals caring the stupid Steelers ...

Proud to be a season ticket holder and aid in their sellout efforts so all the bashers can stay home and watch in the privacy of their homes. Bengals fan all my life. I just don't root for them when they are having a good year. A true fan takes the good with the bad. Cincy is a very fair weathered fan city. Really irks me when they come out of the woodwork when the Bengals are playing well.

For several years now, my position on the Bengals is I will get excited when you get in the playoffs. They have been too incompetent for 20 years to give them any more credit than that.

...which is the definition of a fair weather fan.

I don't like the Bengals, but do admire their fans. Bengals fans put up with more nonsense than any other pro team around here. They faithfully spend their money and don't have too high of expectations. Folks get pumped when they make the playoffs, and I am being serious here, I really can't even recall their last playoff win. I think Mike Brown is the smartest NFL owner in the sense that he has it made. Taxpayers help build the stadium, and he can put a less than stellar club on the field and the folks come. Winning-no need. That is brilliant. Seriously.

The Brown Family Trust Fund thanks you...
