Playing Scott last week was the best thing ever for Hollingsowrth last week! Head rested and knee feeling awesome finnaly.

Well, from the looks of your post, Coaches knew what they were doing last week by resting all those kids.

Its going to take the whole team running on all cylinders to beat this Hungry Raiders squad.

This may have been Highlands best week of practice so far. I stopped by practice during Tuesday storm and the Birds were hammering it out on the football field. Not much standing around as O was doing their thing on one half of the field and D was doing their thing on the other half. The preparation looked pretty intense for just a regular season game. The Birds are ready, would anyone expect anything less? Go Birds 20n10

Do you really think any fan in their right mind, with any inside knowledge of the team, answers either of your questions in an open forum?

I guarantee you that Highlands will put 11 on the field for each play, and those 11 will be prepared.:thumb:

All I can say is that there won't be a one wing excuse.

Good. I'm a huge fan of the kid. Good luck to Austin and the 'Birds.

The Ryle team that will lose by four TD's!!!

Care to clarify? I don't get your point.

The kid has a great attitude, has overcome a lot of adversity and kept a great head about him. I hope he comes out and has a great game tonight and can get to Hempel forcing him to make hurried decisions.

Should be a nice night for football.

Never understood Whackem's statement with that one. Football is 11 on 11, and no one player, even an important one, will make or break the game. So long as HHS gets back to gang-tackling instead of trying to blow up the ball carrier, the result should be an HHS win.

One player can be a game changer though and if you take a couple of those types out of a game then you amplify the issue. I do agree that the Birds and the Raiders can make up for the lack of certain players by gang tackling and forming a cohesive unit and playing as a team where all 11 guys are working as one.

The Ryle team that will lose by four TD's, Therefore the Highlands team that will win by four TD's...Comprende? Ryle stands no chance at this point in the season they barely have beaten Cooper, Campbell and SK...Highlands is in postseason form
