I have always thought national rankings are for the birds! Football seems to vary so much state to state. The last AP poll in Ohio I seen had Middletown ranked 5th and Colerain 7th. I have not seen Colerain play this year,just highlights, and could not tell who I thought was better. At the same time they had Colorain ranked first in the city.

Well said and as long as we compete with at an equal level with the team that BEAT highlands I don't see it as being an issue. Not being on coaching staff or affiated with the school, maybe there are things at HHS that SK does not approve of. Who knows?

You forgot to mention that Highlands was up 34-14 in the 4th and Withrow added on two late scores to make the game seem closer than it really was.

I would just call them a magnent school and not for academics. But that's ok. dirty little secrets never hurt rite! Would love to know how many titles are won from kids not from Ft. Thomas. I can think of a ton off the top of my head over the years. What an advantage of being a "city" school.
