On another note I just have to say that I think that it is flat out hilarious in the way that when tOSU wins nothing is posted unless one of a very few post it. I know that I was away from the pc last night or I certainly would had posted the loss the same as I do a Buckeye win, maybe it's bc OSU wins far more than they lose every year and don't consider mediocrity and mid level bowl games at best a sucsessful season. Some fans are probably hoping for a 5 win minimum to qualify for a bowl so their team can say they made a bowl game.

I personally can be a fan and enjoy watching, pulling for more than one team. I admit that in the past that I was this way over one or two schools/teams but I now just ignore them whether or not they win or lose.

So, party on haters :thumb:, it's not very often when the Buckeyes lose a game so you won't have that many chances to bash a loss. I said what what I wanted to say, I wasn't talking about any one individual or any certain fan base.

OSU was not ready to be #1. They didn't fully realize that Wisky was going to get up as much as they did for this one. Still can't believe how bad the OSU special teams are but it doesn't surprise me considering how thin we are in the secondary. Nice comeback, but what killed OSU was not getting the 6 in the first half and just by getting down 21-0 in general. Posey had his worst game yet and D couldn't stop Clay, that's probably why OSU recruited Clay so heavily. Still a very good football team but not the #1 with some of the freshman and redshirt freshman they have playing now due to injuries.

Very good post and analogy JA. I certainly agree, especially about the special teams. We (OSU fans) have become accustomed to huge advantage when it comes to special teams . I agree about Clay, he is a great power RB, it's not our fault that he signed with the wrong school :sssh::D.

Anyone else like the way Wisconsin plays? They're old school Big 10 football.

I certainly do. I love that style of play.

Just an observation...it seems that if you've learned to just ignore those teams, that you could learn to ignore people like me who love seeing Ohio State lose.

I admit it. I love seeing Ohio State lose. I don't like them and I don't feel bad about it. If it makes you feel any better, I feel the same way about Florida State. However, its much more enjoyable in the present to see OSU lose because, as you say, it doesn't happen often. Seeing FSU lose has lost some of its luster. I think its good for sports to have teams you dislike. It generates interest.

I wasn't talking about anyone in paticular. I realize that you, I or anyone else has a right to post on what they want or don't want to and I guess it just seems to me that there are a large number of people that just love to bash tOSU. That got kind of bad on here some time ago and I just didn't want to see it again.

As I said, I wasn't innocent at all in that I did my share of it so I can see where my post could be talen wrong and I apologize, :thumb:

(Also. for what it's worth I can't stand Michigan, Tennessee, Florida or Duke and I love it when they lose :clap: and that's all I will say about that :sssh::lol:)

Pryor simply isn't a very good qb. Average at best.

He looked helpless sometimes in the pocket when given the chance to the throw the ball. He is Vince Young without his limited ability to throw the ball.

He's been incredibly disappointing, as I thought he would be a dominant collegian.

I didn't take it personal at all, because I don't think I've been overboard in bashing the teams I loathe. I will, however, chime in and relish it a little when they do lose. As you say, the opportunity doesn't come along very often. Disliking teams generates interest for me. If a team I like isn't playing, then I'm absolutely more inclined to watch a team I severely dislike in the hopes that I can see them lose. I love seeing Duke lose in basketball too...I have a lot of respect for those programs though.

Cam Newton of Auburn now seems to be better than Pryor. He certainly runs harder and throws better, IMO.

Always enjoy watching the Buckeyes take one on the chin. Couple that with the UK comeback and this has been an enjoyable Saturday.

Well Joe, I can agree with you on the U.K. game anyway. :lol:

p.s. - Go Yankees! :cool::thumb:
