Any more mistakes?

He has already le it be known that he prefers jitters that can give good AB and work the count, and make contact.

Yes, what's a "jitter"?

For Upton you take it and run. There both younger guys and need to work the count but Upton has a ton of talent.

Wrong Upton. Did you read my post?

What do you mean wrong Upton?

No way I deal both Volquez and Wood. Not a chance.

For Upton, it might take that ...
Drew would be a better fit for the Reds, but I doubt that the Diamondbacks would take Bailey and Alonzo for a quality shortstop. I think Drew will eventually have to move to third base, which would also make him a fit in Cincinnati.

For Drew, I'm guessing that Arizona would want something like Cueto or Volquez, Janish, and maybe Wood over Alonzo.

And they would be out of their mind.

Maybe so, but you ask for a lot and settle for what you really want. And for Drew, a decent shortstop with his bat in his prime, it will take a lot to get him out of there.

You said you didn't know if Tampa would trade him.

No chance. Upton is a decent young player, but nothing spectacular.

Thanks. It's obviously what I get when posting from my phone.

I went to google to look up Upton some more and tampa came up so it was fresh in my mind I thought I had the edit before you saw it. :D

Then I say no.

He's 23 years old and hit .300-26-86 just a year ago. He's decent now with a chance to be a big-time star, and that kind of potential is costly on the trade market.

And you don't consider Cueto 12 wins and Volquez 17 wins last year PLUS Wood is big time star potential. That would be the worst trade of all time.
