McCreary seems to be the old McCreary without Watts and Roark.

Well, like I predicted it would come down to defensive play. McCreary Moved the ball all night at will but shot themselves in the foot on many occassions. I bet Mccreary had somewhere around 300 yards total offense. Their first 2 series they were moving down the field at 4 to 6 yards a pop but threw an interception and had a turnover. I don't think McCreary punted one time in this game they just couldn't finish off their drives. In short Southerns defense gave up a lot of yards just didn't give up points and I knew that's were this game would be won or lost. I don't think you can say 1 or 2 people on defense can account for 40 points. Yes, they would have made a difference on offense in finishing drives with points but that should have happened anyways but it was one of those nights where things just didn't go Mccreary's way on offense where they ended drives and sometimes that happens. Anyway congradulation to Madison Southern on a good win and to my McCreary Raiders I will say keep your heads up, keep playing as a team, and keep working hard everyday. I am very proud of you all and I am sure everyone else is to. Football is a man's sport and you all prove yourselves everyday by your dedication and hard work. Go Get'em Guys!

Conj: to Madison Southern. Good win and have fun in the Play-offs. This year we will stay home and I'll go watch other teams play. HOP said it all. Men go to work and get ready for next sason. Wt. Room, off season Plyo's that is where Ball games are won and lost. MC have some very nice players that will return and with the right attitude and work in off season can get this Ship going in the right Direction.

Wow, I thought Madison Southern would win but not by this much. It sounds like the wheels are off at McCreary Central.

McCreary had been slowly taking steps to improve their program the past couple of years. Hopefully this is just a one season hiccup as they adapt to a new staff and life without Watts.

I am surprised by the score. never did I see this coming. What will help the boys in Sterns is for everyone to stop talking about the Watts era. IT IS OVER! The Raiders can win and be a good program but not if people keep looking in the past. Also, why does everyone think one player makes a team. Watts was one player among 40 or so that helped the Raiders win. Football is team sport not an individual sport. Kentucky football can't win with just Locke and Cobb everyone has to play. No football team is one man show. The Raiders had a fine season last year because it was a team effort. But it is in the past, done, finished so please can everyone stop talking about Watts and start talking about the boys that play now and will play in the future. It does them no good to hear people talk about someone who is gone. Keep your head up Raiders like cellking said work hard in the off season!

I never implied that Watts was a one man team, merely pointing out the changes from last year including a new staff. You have to admit that Watts was an intrical part of last years team and their offense was designed to get the ball in his hands. Therefore, a new staff and a new scheme. That usually requires an adjustment period. Someone else will have to come up with a reason for the defensive collapse.
