Seriously? It wasn't like the outcome was ever in doubt. It was 14-0 before we got to our seats in the romper room area of the stadium.

Dixie is good enough to beat CovCath, then go beat Johnson Central. Could we be playing the 1st, 2nd and 3rd round in Ft. Thomas and not in the mountains this yr?

Pike impressed me but he could have "smoked a cigarette and eaten a hamburger" with the Highlands pressure tonight.....nonexistent IMO. If Towles had that kind of time, he would have been just as effective.

I think even the Highlands fans are agreeing with you OldGuy as they seemed to only rush 3 or 4 and dropped back into coverage as the game plan was they're fast enough to catch and tackle Pike and did not want them to hurt them with his arm.

From my view in the pressbox, he seemed to be getting worked on and stretched because of cramps.

 

Also seen him yelling at the coaches when he was out of the game...I sure hope that isn't a regular thing every week. I hate to bring it up, but a coach like Dale would never let his "star" talk to him like that. Parents in the stands overheard as well.

Did you see my comment (Post #8) about him looking dazed? Never saw him get hit, but he seemed a little unsteady on his feet at times on the sidelines. Like I said also, it looked like Pike and one of the coaches were having a animated conversation.

By saying didn't see him get hit, I am meaning didn't see him get tagged hard enough to be so groggy on the sidelines.

Highlands coaches were in one room downstairs, PA and scoreboard in the middle, and a few media members in other room.

 

Dixie's coaches were upstairs in the other coaches room.

 

Where was the Highlands internet crew supposed to set up? Not a lack of class at all Raiderbird...simply over-crowded. There was also a camera man that had to film from the top of the bleachers as well due to the amount of people in the press box. It wasn't just the HHS internet crew.
