Track the Reds ( 2nd Half, Week 11)

If Dusty is smart in the 9th he'll pinch hit Yonder for Hanigan, then Votto in the pitchers spot. Assuming Votto can pinch hit.

If not he'll let Hanigan hit and save Alonso for the pitchers spot.

I think I'd rather Hanigan hit than Alonso, but I agree w/ you about Votto.

Took something off that one. Only 102

Hanigan really struggles against good pitchers. If there's a guy at 3rd with less than two outs I'd agree, but not to start off the inning.

The ump may grab a glove out of the dugout to protect himself.

Jay Bruce, Jim Edmonds & Phillips are the only 3 Reds who have a hit off of Heath Bell in their career.

Phillips has faced him the most times of any - 4. Chris Burke & Laynce Nix have both faced him 3 times. Nobody else more than 2.

Can you imagine how difficult that would be to catch when he throws it high and outside like that? Hanigan is making some nice catches when you consider how fast those balls are coming in? It's basically a 102 mph pitchout.

When did the Reds call up Chris Burke?

I think the pitch where time was called was going to be a slider...

When did the Reds call up Chris Burke?

Burke was in the Reds organization at one point in time, wasn't he? It looks like Burke has retired.

Looks like Hanigan is hitting for himself.

I'd much rather see Yonder.

Hope he proves me wrong.

The Reds keep drawing me back in. I'm going to give it one more shot. The Reds pull off the biggest choke job in baseball history as they lose tonight and their final 8 games and the Cardinals go 8-2 to force a 1 game playoff. The Cards then beat the Reds for the 14th time to win the Central. :sssh:
