September 25, 201015 yr Why? If the Braves win the Wildcard, we'd have to beat out the NL West Champs for 2nd best record in order to avoid Philly in the 1st round. If NL West team wins the wildcard, we'd play an NL West team in the 1st round. ...
September 25, 201015 yr We need the NL West team to win the wildcard, so that we won't have to play Philly in the 1st round. LRCW is mistaken.
September 25, 201015 yr Masset couldn't throw strikes. Everyone knew he was bringing the heater there, but I didn't expect it to be right down the poop chute.
September 25, 201015 yr Ballgame. Masset has struggled his past couple of outings. He came in with the bases loaded I wouldn't really lay the blame on him.
September 25, 201015 yr Ballgame. Masset has struggled his past couple of outings. Ballgame? In the 7th inning? Man, you'd think somebody who has watched so many games this year would realize that the Reds are never out of it.
September 25, 201015 yr Why didn't Chapman start the 7th? Are you really going to complain? Rhodes and Masset, aka the two best relievers the Reds have had all year, gave up the lead.
September 25, 201015 yr He came in with the bases loaded I wouldn't really lay the blame on him. He walked Eckstein to load the bases.
September 25, 201015 yr He came in with the bases loaded I wouldn't really lay the blame on him. Bases weren't loaded. He walked his 1st batter, then fell behind the 2nd so that he had to groove a fastball to Tejada.
September 25, 201015 yr Are you really going to complain? Rhodes and Masset, aka the two best relievers the Reds have had all year, gave up the lead. Not complaining, just wondering. I was wondering why Chapman didn't start the 7th before Rhodes entered the game. Rhodes is clearly hurting. His overall body of work this season has been outstanding, but it's painfully obvious that he's on his last leg...literally.
