We shouldn't have to say anything positive when a guy does what he is paid to do. Not that I disagree he hustled from the get go on the hit.

 

I would agree if people didn't ride him all of the time (and deservedly so, sometimes). Any time the Reds lose there are some posters who say it's due to lack of effort.

 

Personally, I thought BP should've just jogged into a double. With 2 outs, it was a pretty big risk to go to 3rd there, even though it worked well.

Red's win but how can we feel good about the way our closer continues to struggle?
