If a win over Scott is all it takes to get into the playoffs, they mey get a first round win.

Well, they could win two games besides the Scott game... they could probably beat both NCC and Dixie if the "right" CCH team shows up (you know, the CCH team that beat LexCath and Campbell County).

  Guru, you are on a roll the last couple of weeks. You are having some serious fun stirring it up, aren't you?

They should beat NCC who barely eeked out a win against Campbell County tonight..the same team CCH pounded last week. Dixie is a toss-up. Other than that they have Highlands, and Louisville St. X....who in the state outside of Trinity would beat those two?

So far this season LexCath played the "right" CCH team. I think anyone who was there would agree. The problem seems to be is the changing of personnel. The CCH formula against LexCath worked

on both offense and defense. Both sides have been changed since then. Why change something that worked so well. Sometimes you have to Look to the coaching staff. These kids don't know if they're coming or going. I don't have a horse in this race but the grumbling heard from parents and the players themselves is loud and clear.

Let me be clear. Most football parents aren't reliable sources. They can't see the forest for the trees so I don't put anything into "parents aren't happy" posts. That was true when Coach Ray was there, when Coach R was there, and Dave Brossart.

Don't use LexCath as the shining example of who should and shouldn't play. LexCath doesn't play NKY football and this LexCath team is down considerably.

What changes have been made that you don't like?

Let me be clear, Clyde, you don't want to listen to what is happening obviously and that is a slam against all current and past parents who do happen to know a thing or two about the game. I will certainly use LexCath as an example because the defense executed and made tackles and the offense scored. There are plenty of teams that are down..CCH included. CCH is weak up the middle and had that spot beefed up during that game and that has changed. You must have experience with being an 'unhappy parent' I do not. But to call out a post for something it is not.. is wrong.

I've never once been an unhappy parent. LexCath IMO is a terrible basis for style and personnel as we have not nor will not play another team like them all year. As far as "beefed up" we're talking about the smallest team we'll face all year. I do look at lineups occasionally, this one included, and wonder why certain people are not in. However, I'm not smart enough to know who makes the right reads, who shows up to practice , who is mentally and physically prepared, etc to second-guess a coaching staff who DOES know all of those things. Maybe you are. Props to you if you are.

As we've seen in Highlands threads parents/fans complain about coaching no matter what. It's as old as the game itself. So this is nothing new nor will it ever change nor will it ever be constructive.

VOR thank you. It is indeed getting old Guru!

So Guru, are still bitter about your friend leaving CovCath?

Biggest question I have for you Momma have you expressed your unhappiness in person to the coaching staff, or only on-line where no one know who you are.

True I don't have a son playing but I have found the coaching staff to be a pleasure to talk with and have found them to be more than willing to listen to anything, you might not like what they are doing but they will tell you why they are doing it!

Here's my suggestion. Parents anonymously questioning coaches at CCH has proven to be an embarrassment and a detriment to the program. Let's not repeat history.

To Guru's original question, yes, it's possible that Scott might be the only remaining win.

It's also possible there are only 2 more losses.

50/50.

Such a shallow attempt tog. It is a fair question. And it cracks me up anytime a fan of a school doesn't like something I post they try to personalize it.

Face it Colonel fans, CCH isn't any better off than they were two years ago...
