Mason and GRC and then a pretty wide gap. I like Mason Co as #1 until GRC proves they can beat them when it counts. To be the champ you have to beat the champ.

 

I will even go out a little farther on the limb and state you could have an all-star team consisting of the rest of the regional teams excluding Mason/Clark players with that team having a high degree of difficulty knocking off the big two in 10th regional tournament play. In my opinion that is how far the teams drop off after Mason/Clark!

You will have to get that info from the poster from those schools. From GRC Chase Kindred was a contributor for GRC.

My belief is that GRC was better last year, but Mason County was better-coached--at least in the game that mattered most. So I think GRC has the talent advantage, but there's more than just talent to factor in. Gun to my head, I say GRC wins the 10th this season.

Scott will be better then a lot of people think they will be. IMO: Coach Carr might have his best team since the really good one he had back in 2006-07.

I know that Smith is a very strong PG and that the Eagles also return Cameron Haynes. However, outside of that, the next leading returner averaged only 1.4ppg last year. I put them #6 for that reason.

Didn't Campbell County lose their entire starting five from last year. Last year in District Finals Campbell started five seniors. McGovney might have been one of their 5 best players but he wasn't starting at that point.

 

Scott brings back as much or more than anyone else in the district. Good to see Campbell County wanting to play uptempo but nobody in district runs like Scott.

 

The starting lineup for the Camels was in flux last season due to injuries and performance. But, they return two of their top 4 scorers (Nate McGovney and Brady Kennedy) and will also have PG Losey back after missing last year.

My prediction: Mason Co will not make it to the finals of the region...:eek:
