What does Pendleton have this year to warrant 5th in the region? I thought the two scorers they had graduated.

My prediction: Mason Co will not make it to the finals of the region...

My predictions GRC won't win the Region. I think the last three years I have been right.

They did lose two good scorers. But, they return a solid core led by super soph PG Mason Monroe. The Wildcats may struggle early but Coach Simms will have them ready when it counts.

To echo what AFI said, they have a very young team with a lot of potential. They did beat the camels last year and gave Mason a run for their money early in the season. If the youngsters gel they could present issues for some teams. They are a very scrappy bunch.

I know that Smith is a very strong PG and that the Eagles also return Cameron Haynes. However, outside of that, the next leading returner averaged only 1.4ppg last year. I put them #6 for that reason.

Scott will be put to the test early in the season as GRC will travel there and play Dec. 4th. Game times are 2/3:30 according to the schedule.

GRC plays Christian Co the night before on the 3rd.

Wow! Tough schedule! What's Clark's RPI rating?

We scrimmage J-Town and then in Fast Lane Classic scrimmage, not sure on the matchup there, but probably Eastern or Bowling Green. GRC's schedual is brutal. Ky/Tenn challenge has us paired up with Memphis White Station at Warren Central. In Fayette Co tourney, Toyota Classic, and Beachball Classic. Regular season games with Christian Co, Scott Co, Warren Central, Male, Lexington Catholic, Mason Co, and Lafayette to name a few.

That is a big time schedule. GRC has the team to play that kind of schedule this year, but that's really stepping up to the plate. Hopefully when the Cards lose a few against that slate, the naysayers will consider the competition. No one could go through that gauntlet unscathed.

I agree, we will lose some games this year with this schedule. It will prepare us for the most important games of the season....post-season tourney's.

Obviously the reason for the schedule - but that's not playing around! One of the toughest schedules I've seen in KY basketball in a while. Good luck!

With all the horses they have it will not be as brutal as you might think but definitely will have them Tournament ready. The bottom line though is who is playing well in late Feb/early March and can string together a nice run.

I would put it up there with one of the toughest in the state this year.

Yes we have the horses, but it is still brutal. Memphis White Hall, I have been told, has the best team in Tennessee this year. The Beach Ball Classic has some of the best teams and players from all over the US.

Christian Co, Warren Central, Scott Co, Male, Lexington Catholic, Mason Co, Lafayette and Henry Clay will all be ranked teams this year. When you face this many top teams across the state and US, I consider this a brutal schedule. Of course that is my oppinion....:D Take it for what it is worth.

But Clark has plenty of depth, size and Robby Stenzel. You all will be fine, hopefully you can develop more of a bench with all those tough games.

Agree, and yes we hope to deveolpe our bench more this year .Bopper Stenzel and Adam Fatkin both had great AAU summers. Both are juniors. Have heard that Pokey Harris, may go out this year after football season, he too is a Junior. Then we have Charlie Rogers and Domnique Vancleave, again Juniors. We will have a good team next year too.

I'm just not ready for this yet. Maybe in October.

I have been ready since the Royals lost Saturday morning, let's get December here NOW!
