Which catch was better, Upton's to end last night's game or Bruce to end tonight's?

Bruce's was a tougher play but has Upton not caught his, they would have lost.

Bruce and it's not even close IMO. Not many guys make that catch he did tonight. Bruce went a long way to get to that ball.

Cards score a run to make it 5-3, and have runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs.

Cubs got out of the jam.

Ramirez with a 2 run HR to make it 7-3.

Hopefully tomorrow we'll be at single digits with the magic number. This is getting exciting smiley-dance014.gif

Gomes even made a nice play tonight. Also, THAT is why BP doesn't need to take a day off. There are 7 other guys in the lineup that can hit but only one guy that can pick like that at second. Great play by Bruce. CoCo was the only negative tonight. I guess Homer's dizziness is worrisome.

Rasmus up with the bases loaded, and 2 out, still 7-3.

8 game lead!!! Now it's time to worry about finishing with the best record in the NL and not playing the Phillies.

OK, since it's been since 1995, I thought we could have a little fun counting down the magic # the rest of the way, all the way down till somebody gets to post

Cincinnati Reds 2010 National League Central Division Champions when the Reds finally clinch the division. I got to together with spindoc, and we came up with what we thought were the 10 biggest Reds fans on BGP based on the # of post in the Reds threads this year. What came as a big shock, Westsider's post were way, way down this year. We couldn't figure that one out.

Anyway if you think this is gay, and don't want to participate, then just say so, and we'll get somebody else to take your place. Anyway here is the list, we came up with, and when we got the top 10 we just drew them out of the hat. So starting with magic # 9 tomorrow night, just post the magic # in the thread when the magic # reaches your number. And here is the list.
