I just don't see this one being very close. Coach Gates has done an excellent job this year with the Tigers, but their season will more than likely come to an end Friday night.

Bell is ineligible again this week, so change my prediction from 42-14 to 42-7.

They should, They should of in 2004, they should of in 2003. LOADED and WASTED talent. That place should of won the Super Bowl in 2003 or 2004 and should win it this year. IF they don't there is a problem.
Some could say the same thing about Owensboro Catholic in 2003 ... they were undefeated, ranked #1 with a future Division I QB, a 2,500-yard RB and a strong defense. Upsets happen.

Fort Campbell wasn't the regional favorite in 2003. They were last season, but didn't get it done.

Caldwell will see Micah Johnson for a full four quarters this time around...

I don't give Caldwell much of a shot in this one. Fort Campbell will run all over them and probably ring the "Bell" several times in this game.

Falcons-42

Tigers-0

Those same announcers guaranteed a victory over OC this week and said OC was way over rated. :flame:

I remember last year the coach said they would come home with a win from o'boro,, he might be talking about 2006 or maybe 2007???????

This season's Fort Campbell is a much more physical football team than any of the Falcons teams of the past couple of years. Is there anyone, that's seen Ft. Campbell, that will agree with me on the above statement?

I see your point, they are more aggressive this year than the last two.

BTW I was in Poole the other night.

They are absolutely more physical this year! I honestly think that if they don't win the state championship this year then it will be the biggest dissapointment in 2A history. They have that many weapons and that much hype. That being said carrying the burden of an undefeated season carries a heavy pressure that alot of teams seem to crack under, ala O Catholic in 2003. We will see how it plays out as the pressure mounts from week to week.

You are correct about the Catholic 2003 team. It seemed pressure was mounting and it was soon to blow. Unfortunately it blew with 3 minutes to go in the E-Town game when Catholic was up 20-7. Alot of expectations that year for Catholic and they choked. They also had a great D, a running back, a good OL, and a good group of Receivers. The QB was a D-1 player. :thumb:

I just dont see Caldwell being able to stop Johnson!!

FT-54

Caldwell-7

Fort Campbell has had a great season and should win this one big, FC-38 CC-17. But remember FC all great things come to an end, (probably next week). (GLBT!!!)
